Seaside Beach, Oregon
Of course, once you are near the ocean, you have to stop and dip your toes in, right? Shelley was the only really brave one, and she found out the hard way that the ocean is not particularly warm - even in August! On a warm day, this beach would be the perfect place to cool down.
They were having a kite flying contest on the beach the day that we visited. What fun to see all the kites in the sky!
