The mess before the magic

Profoundly wanted to build something like a HubSpot Marketplace–style app that solves a core problem for HubSpot partners: finding the right expert for their project. If you’re familiar with Upwork, think of Profoundly as Upwork for HubSpot partners.

The idea was simple (on paper)

Customers post a job/problem. Certified providers (Experts) bid on it. Both collaborate for a project and everybody goes home happily staying inside the HubSpot ecosystem.

Computan's role IRL

We jumped in as the builders, plumbers, and occasional roasters (only Zark does that).

Frontend

Clean, fast, no-nonsense UI built with HTML, Tailwind CSS, and Alpine.js. Lightweight, snappy, and a few “why is this button here” or "it's working fine on my system" moments.

Backend (Admin)

Powered by Laravel because when things get serious, Laravel shows up on time. Also, the Computan team genuinely loves Larvel.

Admins can manage jobs, experts, bids, approvals, and all the behind-the-scenes logic without losing sleep.

HubSpot Integration

This was the real boss level. Out of the 100 integrations we shipped last year, this was one of the standout ones. We built 100+ middleware to make systems actually talk to each other sharing data in ways teams can truly use, not just store.

We synced Profoundly’s app data directly with HubSpot, so that the jobs, users, and activities stay connected. Everything plays nicely inside their HubSpot account. No copy-paste disasters. No duct tape or band-aid quick fixing.

How it works (in human terms)

A customer posts a job (‘Help, HubSpot is eating my data’). Certified HubSpot experts jump in and bid to save the day like the Avengers bidding to save the world, while Nick Fury picks the best one. The app admin keeps order from the Laravel backend. HubSpot stays perfectly in sync. Everyone feels productive. Coffee tastes better… or vodka, if you’re like our QC engineer, Zark.

A marketplace-style HubSpot app that actually works. Clean frontend, powerful backend, solid integrations. A system that feels simple on the outside and smart on the inside.
