Hi Sajeel. The most recent things I Googled were related to Shopify app development.
Can you explain why?
Yeah, because we are building a Shopify App. And it has been a while since I built a Shopify app, so I was just looking at the latest changes in the Shopify App Development toolkit.
Nice! What else have you been Googling besides Shopify App Development?
I was studying tricky shots in snooker.
Ah! Do you play?
Yes, for sure! Most of my Saturdays are spent playing snooker in the Snooker Hall.

What do you like about him?
Well, he’s amazing at his craft, and also, he’s a really humble guy. It’s nice to see a Pakistani do so well and represent our culture well on the world stage.

Hahaha. Probably a week ago!
What were you doing?
I was trying to determine the best and most secure way to authenticate the app.

Yup, I did.

First is my hero.

My dad.
That is a really nice thought Shoaib. Why is your dad your hero?
He is a simple and down-to-earth person. He is a farmer. He gave me a good education, groomed us well, and taught me how to be a man. For that, I’ll always be grateful to him.

Have you ever told him that he’s your hero?
No, I never have had the courage!

Who else would you have dinner with?
The principal of my elementary and high school.
Why?
I learned a lot there and became a better student. The principal and leadership of the school played a big part in that.
How long did you go to that school?
For 13 years! From age 6 to 19.

Yeah, lots of good memories. I miss that school and those days.
Who else would you like to have dinner with?
Soufiyan Zaighum. He’s my best friend and University classmate.
How long have you and Soufiyan been close?
For about 10 years. I trust him more than almost anyone.
Sounds like a true friend Shoaib. When was the last time you cried tears of laughter?
I don’t remember crying tears of laughter, but I remember hearing the news that my grandmother’s kidney issues went away after dialysis. How happy I was. She did the dialysis, did all the treatment, and didn’t need the treatment forever. Which we were all concerned about.
That’s a really great story Shoaib.
Yeah. I cried tears of happiness that day.
What do you love about coding Shoaib?
I like problem-solving. I like building algorithms and working with complex algorithms. I also like the fact that not everyone can do it 😉.

When was the first time you saw a laptop/computer?
That was at my uncle’s house in 2003. I was 7 years old, and I played Need For Speed on his computer

I like to drink tea, and I am always drinking tea. Since I work from home, they don’t know that when I’m talking with them, I usually have a cup of tea in my hand when I’m talking!
