Hi Laraib! What are the last three things you Googled?
Hi Sajeel. I Googled LinkedIn, the Youtube Creator Studio, and my Facebook account.
No surprise there! If social media accounts were TV shows, which shows would they be?
That’s not a standard question!
You are not a standard guest Laraib! You are a huge part of putting this series together. Have to give you some different questions!
I would say Facebook is like Money Heist. It’s a huge place; you never know what is real or fake.
Hahaha! What about Instagram?
I would say Instagram is like the show Wednesday on Netflix. Wednesday is very to the point – just like Instagram.
LinkedIn?
LinkedIn is like Witches! Many people want to connect, but you don’t know who they are, making it different and exciting.
Ok one more. YouTube?
Katla – which is another Netflix show.
I have never heard about it. What is it about?
Katla is a show where time moves fast. There is lots of stuff on YouTube; it’s busy, and time flies. YouTube and Katla are very similar! Okay, how about some standard questions now? 😊
Ok fair. When did you last work after hours to solve a hard problem, Laraib?
In one of my previous jobs, I manually recovered records from physical files. It was a chain of dermatology facilities, and at that time, there was nothing on the computer. I had to recover everything from the filing cabinets. It took a lot of time!
That sounds difficult! Who are 3 people you'd like to have dinner with simultaneously, and why?
I can only answer this question if I am allowed additional seats at the table. Can you make an exception for me?

Ok, I would like my family – mom, one of my sisters, brother, husband, aunt, and my 3 kids to join me.
That is a great team! You have three sisters and one brother, but why only one sister?
There has to be a limit, right? You said 3, and I made 9. My sister Nayyab helps take care of my kids when I am working. My mom, brother, husband, and aunt are also incredibly supportive.
Where would you go?
Rooftop dinner at Haveli. It was great when we went for one of the marketing team dinners, and I’d love to take my family there.
That sounds great, Laraib! When was the last time you cried tears of laughter?
I was in Grade 9. The chemistry teacher had a bad chemical reaction, and we ran out of class after hearing the explosion. We were looking around and saw blue marks on our faces. We laughed a lot. It wasn’t serious, though, and a lot of fun.
Sounds interesting, Laraib! What do you love about your job?
Marketing is interesting. I love connecting with different people and different platforms. I love connecting businesses and people.
You are in the right field, then, Laraib. When was the first time you saw a laptop/computer?
I was in the 8th grade, and it was in my computer lab. They showed me MS Paint and the computer teacher taught me about laptops and mice, and we could play Solitaire in our spare time on the computer.
What is something your teammates don't know about you?
They don’t know me much! I ask teammates to post things they don’t want to do. Generally, I think they are scared of me and think I am mean for asking them to post.
You are not a mean person, Laraib! I can testify to that.
